The HYBE Labels x Source Music girl group came out the gates running with their first album “FEARLESS’” on May 2, 2022. Just eight days later, they received their first music show win on SBS MTV’s “The Show”. They continued to showcase their powerhouse presence with their second mini album “ANTI-FRAGILE”, entering the Billboard 200 at no. 14. Due to their success, many are looking towards LE SSERAFIM as one of the frontrunners of the new generation.
3. NewJeans
NewJeans made a splash onto the music scene, starting with their pre-release single ‘Attention’ on July 22, 2022. Just as the name of their first track implies, the five member girl group had all eyes laser-focused on them from the very beginning. Luckily, they surpassed expectations and proved to be a top contender in the industry. 4. Kep1er
Formed through Mnet’s “GIRLS PLANET 999”, Kep1er made their official debut on January 3, 2022 with title track ‘WA DA DA’. They took home their first music show win, just ten days later, on January 13th. In their rookie year alone, they’ve made two comebacks and even participated in Mnet’s survival program, “Queendom 2”. Since coming onto the scene, they’ve showcased their musicality and ability to consistently release addictively trendy tracks.
