This series will get to know some of the female idols who are girl crush material. A ‘girl crush’ is defined as a woman or girl who is the object of one’s admiration. In other words, one of the female K-Pop idols that fans wish was their best friend or girlfriend. This can be based on their style, personality, overall vibe, etc. BLACKPINK’s Lisa opened the series for us followed by MAMAMOO’s HwaSa, TWICE’s JiHyo, ITZY’s RyuJin, Red Velvet’s SeulGi, and Jeon SoMi. Readers voted for STAYC’s SuMin in our weekly poll (at the end of the article) to be featured this week. Let’s get to know our girl crush, SuMin! SuMin is famous as the leader of the sensational rookie girl group STAYC. They are the rising girl group taking the world by storm with their continuous hits and addictive dance moves. They are most famous for their songs ‘ASAP’ and ‘STEREOTYPE’ as well as the dances that go with them. You can check out their trending dance challenges on TikTok. She also gets a lot of adoration for her tininess as the shortest member of STAYC at 159 cm. Fellow member ISA actually said that SuMin is so cute that she wants to put her in her pocket and always carry SuMin around. Not only is she adorable because of her height, but she has a lot of aegyo and a darling personality. She can be dramatic and extremely cute whilst doing so. STAYC’s SuMin actually has a lot of potential for variety shows as she naturally makes everyone laugh. In fact, Jo JungShik complimented SuMin and said that she seems like an announcer because she looks so trustable and dependable. SuMin clearly has a bright future in entertainment ahead of her. SuMin also takes a lot of girlfriend material pictures. They can make fans feel like they took the picture of her while they were hanging out. You can see these photos on the STAYC Weverse as SuMin posts them pretty often. Add that to her fairy-like visuals and her photos will have you crushing on her hard.
Fans especially go crazy for SuMin’s gummy smile. It makes her seem like a literal ray of sunshine.
